My psychiatrist told me the moment a person starts to abuse drugs, their emotional maturity comes to a complete standstill…and only when the addict gets clean, will they be able to continue to emotionally mature, from where they left off. I told him straight up, I don’t agree with your stupid theory. So we had an argument in his office. Suffice to say, I’m no longer his patient. but I didn’t stop seeing because of a disagreement…I stopped seeing him because he is a stupid dumb poopy-face head.
